Old DQ building torn down to make room for new construction

Community members, Lindale government officials and several construction workers stood with owners of the Lindale Dairy Queen as they watched the 1973 iconic building come down to make room for the newly constructed restaurant which will be opening in a few weeks as soon as construction is complete.

The new building will sit perpendicular to the old building with the drive-thru window on the north side of the building. New parking will go where the old building stood.

According to Senior Project Manager Bobby Ogden of Lay Construction, the restaurant will seat 72 people.
