Lindale Eagles win first game

On the road for their opener, the Lindale Eagles beat the Kaufman Lions, 32-27, to get the first win of the season under their belts.

Junior Sam Peterson’s 219 yards passing yards combined with senior Jordan Jenkins’ more than 150 running yards helped the Eagles hold on to their lead in the fourth quarter.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only the cheerleaders and football team traveled to the away game.
