LHS senior night recognitions tonight

Before the football team kicks off its game against Palestine, the football, cheerleaders and drill team will recognize the seniors in those organizations, beginning at 7 p.m. Band seniors will be introduced at halftime.
Lindale is undefeated in District 9-4A while Palestine is 4-1. The last game of the regular season will be on undefeated Kilgore’s turf, Nov. 6.
The Eagles have disposed of Mabank (62-21), Chapel Hill (52-6), Henderson (34-7) and Athens (35-16).
Lindale’s offensive juggernaut has averaged just over 45 points per district contest, led by the thundering runs from senior Jordan Jenkins. The Baylor-bound back has 1,345 yards on 177 carries and 20 rushing touchdowns, with two more coming through on passes from quarterback Sam Peterson.
Peterson (104 completions in 184 attempts, 19 touchdowns)
has a quality group of receivers in Jacob Seekford (32 catches, 6 TDs), Daniel Franke (17 catches, three TDs), Evan Alford (15 receptions, 4 TDs), Case Brooks (7 receptions, 2 TDs), Jaymond Jackson (5 catches, 3 scores) and Cody Swaim (3 catches, and one TD).
Defensive standouts include Airik Williams (61 total tackles, 6 interceptions), Colton Widemon (58 tackles), Corey Sanders (14 tackles, one INT) and Brett Maya (13 tackles).
Lindale’s two losses this season have been to state ranked Midlothian Heritage and Gilmer.
