Forsyth new CSE principal

Connie Forsyth has been named as the new principal for College Street Elementary School, Lindale ISD officials announced.
Forsyth has served as the principal of the Lindale Early Childhood Center for the past five years. Before assuming that role, Forsyth served as a teacher at the Lindale ECC and College Street Elementary before transitioning into the assistant principal role for College Street and Velma Penny Elementary schools.
“I am honored and excited to be the new principal at College Street Elementary,” said Forsyth. “I have had a wonderful history at College Street as a student teacher, teacher, and assistant principal, and I am now blessed to be the principal. Many of the staff members at CSE are people I worked with over the seven years that I was there, and I’m eager to meet all of the new people who have joined the CSE family. College Street has always held a special place in my heart and I can’t wait to start my journey as the leader of this great campus.”
Forsyth earned a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Stephen F. Austin State University. She earned a Master of Education in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler.
“Mrs. Forsyth has been an excellent administrator for Lindale ISD for many years,” said Superintendent Stan Surratt. “She has a proven track record of helping students succeed at high levels. Her great experience, her past relationships at College Street, and her dynamic leadership abilities will enable her to be very successful in her new position as principal at College Street Elementary.”
