The heat dome over most of the United States is creating some high temperatures with little chance of rain this week, which makes this a great time to take the family out to Faulkner Park on Hwy 69N for a little fishing.
Families who have lessened their usual summer activities because of the coronavirus can enjoy some outside family time at the City of Lindale-owned park. In addition to fishing, there is a walking trail, a pavilion, tennis courts and several sports fields which lie empty due to the pandemic.
