The Lindale High School Eagles jumped out to a 35-14 lead at the half but lost eventually fell to the Gilmer Buckeyes 56-46 Friday night in Gilmer.
Jordan Jenkins scored four touchdowns and rushed for more than 200 yards in the loss.
Lindale hosts Mabank in the District 9-4A opener this Friday at Eagle Stadium.
