Deputies honored by MADD

The Smith County Sheriff’s Office’s Patrol Deputies and Sergeant recently won awards at the MADD East Texas Law Enforcement Recognition Luncheon.

These awards are for Leadership and Outstanding Service in combating impaired driving in East Texas.

Their dedication and commitment has helped make the roads and highways of Smith County a much safer place to drive. We would also like to thank MADD East Texas for their unwavering support of law enforcement and their passionate commitment to lowering the number of impaired driving deaths in the East Texas area.
